BOTSWANA, October 6, 2009. - Nine young students from Botswana traveled to Cuba for higher studies under the annual scholarship program that benefit low-income students of this African nation.
The students were seen off at the airport by members of the Embassy of Cuba and Officials from the Ministry of Education of Botswana
Previously, the young had an exchange of views with the Cuban ambassador, Ramon Alonso Medina, who explained to them Cuba’s reality. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Botswana)
The soil studies is part of a trilogy of cooperation agreements signed between Cuba and Belize and will continue with the production of biological means for plague control and another for the multiplication of plants through modern technology. The project is a continuation of a first step was when Cuba donated 30 cane specimens for the improvement of the production in Belize.(Cubaminrex- Embacuba Belize.)
